My passions extend beyond my professional work: from Picasso’s Blue and Pink periods and the bold linework of ukiyo-e prints, to the patterned geometry of Islamic art of the Moors, the elegance of early cinema and Hitchcock, and the raw immediacy of Abstract Expressionism.

I am drawn to museums as spaces where these narratives converge, and my research often circles back to the theme of transcultural communication—the ways in which art travels, transforms, and takes on new meaning across time and place.
